His passion for music began in his teens with progressive rock and jazz, but he ultimately found his calling in the beauty of classical guitar. Mark's impressive academic background includes a B.M. in Guitar Performance from the University of South Alabama (1988), earned on a guitar scholarship, and a Master's in Guitar Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi (1994), where he won prestigious competitions judged by world-renowned guitarist Jorge Morel. He has also participated in masterclasses with top guitarists throughout his career, further honing his skills and knowledge.
