The Yamaha APX600FMAM thin-body acoustic-electric guitar features a unique under-saddle piezo pickup, Yamaha's proprietary SRT transducer, a natural acoustic tone, and a feedback rejection system that's every player's dream.
Compared to previous APX Series guitars, the Yamaha APX600FM features a more natural look, a deeper body for better bass response and greater volume, and a scalloped bracing pattern for a responsive, dynamic tone.
The APX600FM's thin-line body combines comfort, easy top-fret access, and a sound suited to on-stage use - clear mids, balanced highs, and controlled lows. Specially designed non-scalloped X-type bracing allows the guitar’s top to maximize the body's resonance for a full, natural tone. The thin body depth is comfortable for electric guitar players wanting to play acoustic, and guitarists who desire a smaller (than a dreadnought) guitar.
